I Heart Playgroup

On Monday, we had playgroup over at Amy & Porter's & Amy hosted the most precious Valentine's party EVER! She had decorated her house so cute including a giant stuffed monkey holding red & white balloons to greet the boys when they arrived (in our house, balloons are ALWAYS a bonus!).

The boys played in Porter's fun playroom...I must admit, I am jealous of how fun it is! There is a slide, several ride along toys, a cool train table, & so much more. Basically it is heaven for a little, active boy!

She had a fun Valentine's craft for the moms to make (a sack to fill with valentines). It is hilarious trying to craft while my little guy is so BUSY!

The boys passed out their treats for each other & then we did our usual attempt at a group picture - ha ha. The day was so much fun...Chapman loves all of his buds!! Thanks Amy :)

Orange Cup?

Has anyone had Orange Cup yet?? I am obsessed!! It is SOOOO delicious...frozen yogurt with yummy fruit, granola, choc. chips, etc for toppings. And, amazingly enough, I think it is pretty good for you! Anyone up for an orange cup date soon?? Let me know!

...when Mommy & I go to the mall w/Aunt Jen & Claire, Aunt Jen brings me an oreo for dessert! Life is good!

Copper Mountain...

On December 29th, David & I left Chapman with Grammy & Poppi & headed to Colorado for the Senior High Ski Trip. For those who don't know, I have a small group of senior girls that have been in my bible study since 6th grade!! I love them so very much & couldn't believe this was our last ski trip together!

We headed up in the suburban with Stacey & Melissa...we were the "early crew" meaning we would pick up the food at Sam's in Denver & get it up to Copper before the buses got there. We had a few "issues" with the food fitting into the burb, but it all worked out in the end.

Once we got there, our time was filled with skiing, club at night, devos about the theme "Point of View", awesome skits (starring my husband), an AWESOME New Year's Eve dance party, & lots of laughs!! Oh, to be back in high school...

We love Christmas!

The Penuels had a wonderful & very busy Christmas! We first traveled to Bartlesville to spend Christmas Eve & Day with David's family. Then, off to Wichita Falls for the weekend to celebrate with my family. After that, it was off to Colorado for David & I for the Watermark Sr. High Ski Trip...and Chapman stayed with his Grammy & Poppi!
