On Monday we had our playgroup Christmas party at Brittney & Quinn's. Chapman & I arrived to an absolutely beautiful, Christmas-y home! It was so warm & inviting :)
Brittney had planned a fun craft for us to do with our boys (which involved painting their hands - yikes!). It was a cute little Christmas scrapbook with a handprint Santa on the cover! 8 little toddlers ran around & played while the mommies painted, glued, ate & chatted!
Then, we did our gift exchange in by the tree...Hudson got Chapman some fun new colors, a GIANT coloring book & a cool ABC book!! He was thrilled :)
After lots of talking, laughing & eating, it was time to snap a few pictures & head home! Thank you Brittney for hosting, & we are so thankful for our sweet friends!!
Check out Brittney's post...it is too cute!

Christmas Traditions...
Every year my parents do the "Grammy & Poppi Christmas Game" for the grandkids. The kids get to open fun presents during certain days in December leading up to Christmas Day. This year Chapman got some presents to open, and it all started with his own Little People Nativity! How precious is this?? He loves to push the angel, which makes the star light up & "Away in a Manger" plays. I have to keep an eye on the characters though...I found baby Jesus in the kitchen earlier :)
Here he is playing with his Nativity...

Thanksgiving in the Falls
David, Chapman & I headed to Wichita Falls to spend Thanksgiving with my family this year. It is always nice to be able to get away from Dallas for a few days.
Thursday was a day of delicious food, watching the parade, hanging out, etc. On Friday, we went to a display of lights in Wichita Falls...it was really fun to walk through, but super cold!! Throughout the weekend, we also found time to play outside, see a movie, run errands, eat lunch at Casa Manana (yum!) & visit G.G. (Chapman's great-grandmother).
All in all, it was a wonderful & relaxing holiday! Thanks for everything Grammy & Poppi!!

Night of Fun: Part 3
Each year for Christmas, David & I give our niece & nephew a "Night of Fun" w/us! They get to pick what we do, where we eat dinner, what movie we watch, what snacks we eat, etc, etc. It is their night!
This is our third year for "Night of Fun", and I dare say it was the best yet!! We had so much fun w/Maddie & Jack! (Sadly, this is their gift from LAST Christmas...we are a tad late on the delivery!)
Our night started off at Amazing Jake's! That place is really cool...we had pizza, rode bumper cars, played put-putt & about a million video games! After that, it was back to the Penuel's for Wii, Thanksgiving crafts for the girls, Hannah Montana, Suite Life, & an awesome pallet on the floor of our room for the kids.
Here are some fun pictures from our night!

"Chappy's All Done!"
You would think that this cool "shopping cart car" would be really fun while shopping at Kroger...I mean, it has 2 steering wheels!! Unfortunately, Chapman kept trying to grab his cousin Claire's wheel, resulting in lots of elbowing & Claire saying multiple times "Chappy's all done!" (which translated means "Get him out please!"). Ha ha...sometimes they seem like brother & sister!!

Coyote Pride We Celebrate...
This weekend, David, Chapman & I headed to Wichita Falls for my 10-year high school reunion. It started with a football game Friday night. then a picnic Saturday & dinner Saturday night. I loved getting to see some faces that I hadn't seen in awhile. Everyone looked great, & so many of us have little ones running around now...lots of little BOYS!! Chapman's buddy, Reese, got to come over & play on Saturday afternoon. I had several pictures, so click below to see a slideshow :) Go Coyotes!
Oh, & thank you to Grammy & Poppi for taking such good care of Chapman while we celebrated!!

Halloween '08 - Part 1
Halloween started a little early for us this year with some trick-or-treating up at Watermark. The staff had bowls of candy all around the office on Thursday afternoon, & Chapman got to show off his lion costume. He had lots of fun munching on his sucker!! Here are a few pictures of our little lion!
