Night of Fun: Part 3

Each year for Christmas, David & I give our niece & nephew a "Night of Fun" w/us! They get to pick what we do, where we eat dinner, what movie we watch, what snacks we eat, etc, etc. It is their night!

This is our third year for "Night of Fun", and I dare say it was the best yet!! We had so much fun w/Maddie & Jack! (Sadly, this is their gift from LAST Christmas...we are a tad late on the delivery!)

Our night started off at Amazing Jake's! That place is really cool...we had pizza, rode bumper cars, played put-putt & about a million video games! After that, it was back to the Penuel's for Wii, Thanksgiving crafts for the girls, Hannah Montana, Suite Life, & an awesome pallet on the floor of our room for the kids.

New Shoes, New Hair...

...Oh, and did I mention we are officially WALKING??!!

"Chappy's All Done!"

You would think that this cool "shopping cart car" would be really fun while shopping at Kroger...I mean, it has 2 steering wheels!! Unfortunately, Chapman kept trying to grab his cousin Claire's wheel, resulting in lots of elbowing & Claire saying multiple times "Chappy's all done!" (which translated means "Get him out please!"). Ha ha...sometimes they seem like brother & sister!!

Coyote Pride We Celebrate...

This weekend, David, Chapman & I headed to Wichita Falls for my 10-year high school reunion. It started with a football game Friday night. then a picnic Saturday & dinner Saturday night. I loved getting to see some faces that I hadn't seen in awhile. Everyone looked great, & so many of us have little ones running around now...lots of little BOYS!! Chapman's buddy, Reese, got to come over & play on Saturday afternoon. I had several pictures, so click below to see a slideshow :) Go Coyotes!

Halloween '08 - Part 1

Halloween started a little early for us this year with some trick-or-treating up at Watermark. The staff had bowls of candy all around the office on Thursday afternoon, & Chapman got to show off his lion costume. He had lots of fun munching on his sucker!! It is always a sight to see when we try to get a group picture at playgroup. On Monday, we thought we would put the boys in their Halloween costumes & give it a try. I must say, not too bad!! Maybe it was being outside? Maybe it was shoveling animal crackers in their mouths? Who knows?? But we got some cute shots!!

Hanging Around the House...

Fun on the Farm!

On Friday, Chapman & I went to the Owen's Spring Creek Farm w/some of our buddies from playgroup. It was such a beautiful day....perfect for being outside. We got to go on a hayride, look at animals & pick out a pumpkin to take home!

Happy Anniversary!!

October 8, 2005

It was 3 years ago that David & I got married on a beautiful fall day in Wichita Falls, TX at Grace Church. The ceremony was absolutely perfect, and I got to marry my very best friend! Happy Anniversary David...I love you so much!!

So Proud!

Watermark recently started offering a service on Sunday nights at 5:30, and David, Chapman & I have been going to it for the past few weeks. Tonight, when we went to pick him up from the nursery, I got to experience a wonderful "mommy moment"...his first ART! Little did I know that my little man was learning about Jesus at the young age of 13 months :) Check it out below...I am so proud!!

Friday Night Lights...

David & I got to go to the Highland Park HS football game last night w/our friends, Jeff & Stacey. It was SO much fun - I mean, don't you miss high school football games?? I love the whole atmosphere - the team, cheerleaders, fans, school spirit...we had such a fun time & got to hang out with our sweet small group kids! 2 of David's guys play football & 2 are Scotsmen. That's me & Audrey in the picture above :) Love her!

Oh, and the Scots won 62-0...nice!

Today, Chapman & I joined some of our friends at the Arboretum for "Mommy & Me Monday". Jen & Claire came over & we piled in one car to head down to Dallas. The weather was awesome & the pumpkin patch was so cute! We tried to snap some pictures before settling down for a picnic lunch & some Kindermusic. Chapman & Claire loved getting to see Reid, Porter, Blake, Hudson, Sutton & Eleanor. What sweet friends!
